After EA was criticized for failing to address critical issues in Classic Franchise mode and the Madden 25 coins development team revealed The Yard, a brand new game mode. The Yard. The announcement raised eyebrows among the number of players begging for changes to franchise mode, however The Yard does not deserve to be discarded because of general discontent with the status of a different mode. It deserves its equal treatment, and that's why I chose to concentrate upon The Yard in Madden 25.
Many of us have went through our Gridiron Notes and probably watched some YouTube celebrities review the new game mode. However, when you consider the idea behind EA's newest game in the Madden series There's nothing at all that suggests it a wildly extravagant concept. But, it also has me wondering what the reason we've only seen a few such games over the past three decades of gaming in sports.
In the end, all that matters is whether the game is enjoyable and interesting. In the absence of that there's no reason to play. That's why I give a big kudos to the developers, because The Yard is a blast. It's true that I may still be in the honeymoon phase of the style but what if not?
It's possible that I'm biased as I've had an unwavering space in my mind to NFL Street, but that could also mean that The Yard has been having the desired impact, which is good. A modern rendition of one of the greatest arcade NFL games ever made could be a nice avenue to get into for an athletic game. After spending countless hours in this game mode in the beginning, it's the perfect replacement for EA's old arcade series.
There's nothing that games that are based on sports are able to do today to alter what we've grown accustomed to and, therefore, while The Yard isn't exactly a revolutionary game but it's a brand new thing in The Yard and the Madden franchise. It's a good thing.
I'm sure EA will announce an update soon after the game is launched (and right now EA has already done this). As we've seen with previous buy mut coins, that's not always the best. I'm able to recall a couple of occasions where I really enjoyed the speed, gameplay and other aspects of Madden prior to when the development team made some changes which affected the overall gameplay.
